    About this Job

    The Sr. Analyst, Safety is responsible for supporting the management of Spirit’s Potable Water, OSHA, and Drug and Alcohol Programs.


    • Assist in the preparation of data and communications to be provided to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and associated industry groups.
    • Review projects in a highly demanding, time-sensitive, and regulatory-driven environment.
    • Effectively communicate and coordinate across organizations while supporting and building a positive, team-oriented environment.
    • Effectively manage projects in a highly demanding, time sensitive, and regulatory driven environment.
    • Provide expertise to company management and stakeholders with respect to regulations, regulatory changes, and future programs in a timely and pro-active manner.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Environmental Protection Agency, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration and their interpretations as they pertain to Spirit’s operations.
    • Track and ensure timelines are met for regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and ensure continued compliance with FAA, OSHA, and EPA programs.
    • Responsible for records for the bacteriological analysis of all aircraft.
    • Responsible for OSHA-related records.
    • Adhere to and promotes the Spirit corporate vision and values.
    • Interface between manuals and workgroups in unison with all stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy.
    • Conduct self-audits and thorough review of industry standards, regulations, regulatory guidance, and feedback.
    • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies, change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments.)


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • 3-5 years’ experience in Airline Operations required

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Comprehensive knowledge of all FAA, EPA and OSHA regulations
    • Highly organized and forward thinking
    • Excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills required
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management
    • Works under pressure with accuracy while meeting inflexible deadlines
